This is my latest editorial work that I really love it. It for local Thai magazine called ‘Dichan’ and it just out in this week, May issue. The concept is a supermodel. The girl, she is a top supermodel of Thailand from the 90s era, called Joy Vararak, so the photographer and I decided to photograph her as many fierce style as we can!
The shooting required lot of research on different style for each outfits. We did as many as 14 pictures that is mean 14 styling too. The shoot went on very early in the morning with lot of make up and hair going on with Joy.

The Photographer, hair and make up I worked with at that day was one of the best in Thailand, Nat, O-lek and To, without them it would not be finnish in just 7 hours for 14 pictures.

And HERE is the link of all picture I proud of in this month from Dichan magazine. Hope you love it like I do xoxo.

Here my latest work for Wallpaper cover, Thai edition, Febuary 2010 issue. The theme of this month is all about how to ‘Eco-friendly living’ and I just realized that this cover actually look a bit like the painting ‘American Gothic’

Painted by Grant Wood in 1930 and has been considered one of the important work of 20th century american art. What’s a coincident! Both in the composition, pose and the message… This might come from our old day from university with Art history class that put this painting in our brain until it influencing a big part in our work without realizing it.

The shooting went on with the saving environmental too. This result in using main SUN as our main light and that left me burn for a few day after spent 7 hours on the roof of the studio.

The clothes come from Spring summer collection 2010 from all big brand like Dior, Prada, Louis Vuitton and many from new local Thai designer that design a collection using eco-friendly fabric.

The magazine is out now for all Thai Wallpaper fan and I hope everyone love it :-))

This is my second times in Macau and I have to say that it is absolutely enjoyable than my first visit. I went there for the fashion shooting with Honeymoon+Travel magazine (Thai magazine) and Macau tourism. Our team has been take care by best guide of tourism Macau. He’s really treat us as a king and queen while we stay over there.

Since we in the casino town why don’t we try gambling? That is the question come up from magazine crew in the first night. So we decided to try some luck with the greyhound race… and while everyone lost their money, only I had some fortune with it. I place 10 dollar Macau bet and I got 100 dollar Macau back, how lucky I am.

And here some picture from the Honeymoon+Travel (Thai magazine) Macau issue. The models are real couple, they are a famous TV stars in Thailand so it end up with a natural theme for a lover kinda pictures.. enjoy!

It was a last job of 2009 for sale season in January 2010. This time we have a pretty girl from Russia as a model and she has a very stunning legs! The shooting went well and it’s an easy job for a holiday to come…

Here also a catalogue for new year of CENTRAL department store in Thailand. I have to admit that the clothes from department store for this catalogue this new year are just all over the place.. nothing seem to be going together both colour or design. So i try using some props and some pose to project some styling that could make it somehow looking like it coming together in the same theme…

Laos is the place that like our bother, Thailand. Even though, we speak different language but it pretty much close on the sound and meaning. I think it is because we come from the same route of language.

We arrived in vientiane everything here clam and peaceful.. well, more than Bangkok for sure. We start working right away by start shooting some shot at the local temple around town. The temple here look very stunning. It look old, authentic and very beautiful. I feel like they all could be a paradise resort hotel somewhere in the east because it just look so amazing.

After many shot round temple, we did the shot around Vientiane street too including their victory monument. Laos people around the street are very friendly and they seem relax all the time.
I can get the feeling that It would be a perfect place for someone who want some peace in their life would find Laos a real heaven on earth.

In the night after the shooting we went to the night life of Vientiane and find out that in this city most teenager will go to one place called ‘Center Point’ just to have a Soya Milk drink and have a chat with their friend.. how CUTE of teenager here. This somehow not happen in Bangkok now as teenager seem go out just for a beer or alcohol.. not for a Soya milk!

The magazine is already come out and I hope everyone love the fashion picture. Here is the link for the fashion in Honeymoon & Travel.

One of the most interesting job I did in August. An advertising for a Duty Free store in Bangkok, celebrate their 20th anniversaries featuring lot of fantasy characters including Mermaid, Snow queen, Venus, Angels and lot of them in the series…

The inspiration of the campaign playing with the joy and power of shopping in the fantasy scene, as always for King Power. Inspiration was took from lot of movie and fashion designer in current season, for example the main character is Theysken’s Nina Ricci version or JPG for Mermain fantasy while accessories and hat was inspired by Tracey for McQueen collection.

The shoot was a studio work, It took about two days to finnish all the shoot with tight budget after spending big bucks on models outfit to look it best! The first day is mainly focusing on all models in the layout while second day focusing on props and still life.

With these many stunning clothes at the studio, likes alway, my assistant join the shoot by wearing some of the dress to help us get the right movement of the fabric for computer retouching in the later process. The campaign already come out. I’m very happy with the picture and looking forward for the next fantasy campaign…

After spent lovely time wondering around Loch Ness for two nights. Now we on the way down to Edinburgh. We left very early morning so we could have some extra time to visit lot of places along the way before we get to Edinburgh. We decided to stop at Blair Atholl town for a cup of tea at the water mill tea room opposite the Blair Atholl Castle.

Then we head for some interesting lesson about whisky. Well, since we’ve been in Scotland we thought it a proper idea to learn something about whisky! We went to Blair Atholl distillery. Here they produce whisky for Bell’s brand while they specialize in whisky that doesn’t have smoky taste. I’ve learned a lot about how whisky made and what it make the whiskey to have a smoky and not smoky smell. It’s actually from the whisky barrel itself.

After whiskey lesson we stop by for a tallest tree in England (I’m not sure it’s true but I’m sure it definitely on the top list of it). It a lovely big area with lot of tall tree. I also grab some nut and expecting to feed some red squirrel but unfortunately doesn’t found any :-((

At noon, we’ve finally arrived at Forth Rail and Forth Road of Edinburgh. And here we are in Edinburgh city. It’s so beautiful and full of old historical building. To me It feel very eastern Europe!

Our first dinner in Edinburgh we’ve decided to go to Cafe Royal (It’s been recommended from the best Beer guide book of the 2008). In here they not only sell lot of drink but also lot of good food too! The place decorated with French style. I have a mussel in white wine sauce and it is very yummy. While my friend having oyster and haggis.

The next day we spent time around town. Did some shopping and sight seeing. Our main attraction is the Edinburgh castle. Here we’ve learned some history about Scotland and England. I think the ticket is a bit pricey but well once in a life time so it’s okay… but If you ask me to pay for that castle again…. maybe not…

And next stop we will visit some other small town on the way down before our trip end at Manchester city… C u!
