PICK OF THE WINTER SALES

Let’s do some shopping this weekend and look for incredible things in the sales at Farfetch. After thoroughly checking more than 1,000 items on the site this morning, I found some dresses, shoes and belts that I would recommend my readers to snap up. I didn’t find any handbags, shirts or skirts to wow me much, as most of those pieces seemed like typical high street items.

If you’re looking to buy something worthwhile before the sales end, I believe these are the best items around this weekend. They’ll always look incredible regardless of trends or the season.

GIVENCHY, £1,998.33 £1,199 | BOTTEGA VENETA, £2,231.67 £1,339 | STELLA MCCARTNEY, £1,012.86 £709 | MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA, £412.86 £289

These are the 4 dresses that I think are the best in the sales at Farfetch. The black Givenchy dress and taupe Bottega Veneta dress are the best to buy if you’re looking for something to wear for a fashion event or a cocktail party.

While the white Stella McCartney and nude Martin Margiela are appropriate for the day time. The clean and well-cut designs make these dresses perfect for a lunch date or a formal business meeting.

TABITHA SIMMONS, £377.14 £264 | ACNE, £510 £357 | MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA, £645 £451.50 | RICK OWENS, £930 £465 | ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, £912.86 £639 | JOHN GALLIANO, £955.71 £669

I found 6 pairs of shoes that are very interesting and worth checking out. The flat Tabitha Simmons pumps are so cute. Just simply pair them with black skinny pants to create a chic, simple look (think Hepburn in Funny Face).

The boots selection is amazing too. The curved sole Oxford boots from Acne, and the cut out sole from Margiela are so cool. Just the ticket for fashion week this Febuary. The Rick Owen, McQueen and Galliano boots are also some of the best iconic boots around. With a discount price that worth the investment, as I’m sure there’ll be rare vintage items in the years to come.

ANN DEMEULEMEESTER, £326 £163 | GUCCI, £306.67 £184 | JEAN PAUL GAUTIER, £727.14 £509

And finally the accessories selection. I didn’t find any decent jewellery or any interesting bags at all. Most of the items seem to me similar to anything that you could find on the high street, or they aren’t yet marked down enough.

I found 3 belts that are very good deals. The feather belt from Demeulemeester is a perfect example of the kind of  belt that will transform a conventional looking overcoat or a simple jacket to a piece for the runway. The horse bit Gucci and the leather JPG corset belt are also iconic belts that will last forever, a rare find.

Check out all these itms while they are still available. Especially as they offer a free worldwide return policy at the moment, so if you change your mind later, you can just get your money back. Enjoy shopping everyone!
