A new cover I styled for Wallpaper* Thai edition, January 2010, I very in love and happy with it. The theme is all about introducing and ranking all the design school and colleges in Thailand.. talking about how good and bad they are and who behind it, that shape the Thai design scene.

The shoot including lot of graphic sign elements that associate with design things in different fields; Graphic design, Interior design, Film, Architecture, Product design and so on…

And now it time for me to get busy for February cover of Wallpaper* magazine… so I hope you enjoy this January issue of Wallpaper* Thai edition!

It was a last job of 2009 for sale season in January 2010. This time we have a pretty girl from Russia as a model and she has a very stunning legs! The shooting went well and it’s an easy job for a holiday to come…

Here also a catalogue for new year of CENTRAL department store in Thailand. I have to admit that the clothes from department store for this catalogue this new year are just all over the place.. nothing seem to be going together both colour or design. So i try using some props and some pose to project some styling that could make it somehow looking like it coming together in the same theme…

Laos is the place that like our bother, Thailand. Even though, we speak different language but it pretty much close on the sound and meaning. I think it is because we come from the same route of language.

We arrived in vientiane everything here clam and peaceful.. well, more than Bangkok for sure. We start working right away by start shooting some shot at the local temple around town. The temple here look very stunning. It look old, authentic and very beautiful. I feel like they all could be a paradise resort hotel somewhere in the east because it just look so amazing.

After many shot round temple, we did the shot around Vientiane street too including their victory monument. Laos people around the street are very friendly and they seem relax all the time.
I can get the feeling that It would be a perfect place for someone who want some peace in their life would find Laos a real heaven on earth.

In the night after the shooting we went to the night life of Vientiane and find out that in this city most teenager will go to one place called ‘Center Point’ just to have a Soya Milk drink and have a chat with their friend.. how CUTE of teenager here. This somehow not happen in Bangkok now as teenager seem go out just for a beer or alcohol.. not for a Soya milk!

The magazine is already come out and I hope everyone love the fashion picture. Here is the link for the fashion in Honeymoon & Travel.

One of the most interesting job I did in August. An advertising for a Duty Free store in Bangkok, celebrate their 20th anniversaries featuring lot of fantasy characters including Mermaid, Snow queen, Venus, Angels and lot of them in the series…

The inspiration of the campaign playing with the joy and power of shopping in the fantasy scene, as always for King Power. Inspiration was took from lot of movie and fashion designer in current season, for example the main character is Theysken’s Nina Ricci version or JPG for Mermain fantasy while accessories and hat was inspired by Tracey for McQueen collection.

The shoot was a studio work, It took about two days to finnish all the shoot with tight budget after spending big bucks on models outfit to look it best! The first day is mainly focusing on all models in the layout while second day focusing on props and still life.

With these many stunning clothes at the studio, likes alway, my assistant join the shoot by wearing some of the dress to help us get the right movement of the fabric for computer retouching in the later process. The campaign already come out. I’m very happy with the picture and looking forward for the next fantasy campaign…

After having long hair for 15 year because I believe that short hair is so not me! Then I’ve finally cut it short at last and took a picture for 4th Anniversary of Wallpaper* magazine Thai edition, August 09 issue : New creative elite. People who can shape the future of this country. And it turn out short hair not bad at all… The magazine featuring people in lot of categories such as artist, art activist, architecture, interior designer, fashion designer and etc. My picture was taken to put in Stylist page along with two other Thai stylist .

At the interview shoot everyone has their own model along with the article. For me, my fashion start about 1990. It all about grunge fashion and haute couture at that time. I think my inspiration and who am I today mostly come from the magazine called ‘Dutch’.
Dutch was an Avant-Grade fashion magazine that only last for 40 issue at the late 90s but it leave a big mark to my heart (I still keep all those old issue as a diamond in my collection). It’s about how cheap grunge and expensive couture meet each other, it is about ‘Dress down couture’. The magazine really shape what I am today interm of my beauty perception. The magazine speak out loud about the beauty of not perfection, the beauty of the uglyness!

I styling my model wearing a gorgeous red velvet coat from Prada mix with customised grunge T-shirt I made myself, also Chanel gold chain necklace and hat from Thai designer and sure Dr.Martens boots.
The magazine out now in Thailand. And man!!! I look like just turning 20 in the picture.. 10 year youger, HOW’S LOVELY!!!…. ;-))

This is a conventional job, an everyday works that only required a sophisticated lady to representing the product. The model today was Anna, we’re concluded that she is one of the most beautiful girl ever come from Wales and she is our favorite girl so far for June – July months, after working together with her for more than three job in a row! We’re working with her again today… And today is the advertising for GE Central card with Master Card.

The outfits for today are came from Thai designer, Tube Gallery & Nopparat, also international designer outfits, Karen Millen & Vivienne Tam. While the theme of the advertising is to portray a sophisticated customer who is the target of the product both on ‘Gold Card’ and ‘Platinum Card’.

We shot with the white sheet at the back to create an interesting light on the model before finishing everything on computer along with graphic and layout. And here it is, the result of hard work from all the crews! Including you too Anna ;-))

Here it is… a job with a hairy jacket that I made for Central Department Store Advert in Thailand. This is a job in this month that not only require my styling but also some sewing skill too. This was inspired by the jacket from Martin Margiela

but I decided to made it look more like McQueen style… as McQueen style would look more fierce and modern than somber Margiela version…. The campaign is about the special month sale at Central department Store with a famous magician from France, Laurent Beretta, to show in Thailand at Central for three days.

So that why the picture required some magical non-natural clothes but still not look over the top as it is the style of Central. (Paragon and Emporium department store, competition department store in Bangkok of Central, would be more fantasy styling and very very over the top image!)

This campaign will come out end of this month at Central Department Store in Bangkok, Thailand. Well, I already made another version just for myself to fierce around party in the month to come, c ya fashion people!

It’s a very last minute and very tight budget shoot indeed. In fact, We doesn’t have any money at all to do this shoot for Wallpaper mag as It just a picture for a small style column 2 pages of the magazine.
We did this at the roof of my apartment building, preparing all hair and make up in my room. The model Anna she is really nice as it is so small budget shoot and she agree to do it, We’re very appreciate for it much, Thank you Anna :-)).
The shoot start from the picture that will link to the article I wrote for Wallpaper about Japanese designer today, from the 80s with legendary designer from Rei Kawakubo, Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto that open the door for us to see what Japanese fashion is all about. Until today with new big name likes Junya watanabe, Undercover and the latest one Limi Feu (The daughter of Yohji Yamamoto).

Even though, It’s very tight budget that we didn’t even have enough money to lend any lighting equipment but we did it with love and very enjoy it much. After the shoot everyone (Apart from Anna) enjoying my Wiskey collection in my room with a good selection of Wiskey I brought from Scotland. This WPP* will out this month and I hope everyone like it. C ya ;-))

It is a test shoot for photographer and model and it happen in early March. We working with lot of beautiful clothes from Prada, Dries Van Noten, Jil Sander and many more. And today my assistant absolutlely fierce!!!
We are working with one Canadian girl and another Russian girl. One of the test shoot set will be publish in 2 magazine this June.
The shoot went on like usual until we got some free time at the end of the shoot… My assistant then got an idea he want to be like Madonna in the advert of Madonna for Louis Vuitton as we have the LV collection of shoes and clothes at the studio.

I think my assistant a bit FIERCE than madonna ;-)) as he dress more with bangles from Burberry, bag and hat from Chanel… but one thing missing is that he got a bit of SHORT legs compare to the goddess mother.. I think my assistant is very cute and funny. He made hard and stressful job become fun to do!!?!?!? DO YOU LIKE HIM ;-))

It was a tight schedule shoot of the last Spring-Summer 2009 collection as most of the brand would go on sale season and it all about Pre-fall now. This is a fashion shoot for CRUSH, men magazine in Thailand, that I did last week.

CRUSH magazine don’t want any female fashion like something in your face as Maxim or FHM did. So the fashion result in a clean styling but elegant and sexy. The clothes in this set are the mix of Spring-Summer 2009 pieces with underwear from Hermés shirtdress to Chanel jacket mix with see-through lace from La Perla.

The girl we working with is one of the best model in Bangkok ;-)) It really good when you pick the right girl to work with, I can tell you!

I always pay attention to the detail of having the right girl for the right shoot as I used to have lot of experiences that even though the photographer is great and the clothes are stunning but with the bad girl, the picture could end up not quite like it should be… and this I seen in lot of fashion shooting today that not really success.

Here the link of contact sheet and sample layout. The magazine will come out in this month and I hope everyone like it…
