This has been the most epic watch shoot I have ever done in my life. The fashion story covers amazing watches of every price – from about £100 to over £95,000!

นี่คืองานถ่ายแฟชั่นนาฬิกาที่เหนื่อยที่สุดก็ว่าได้ตั้งแต่เคยทำงานมา แฟชั่นนาฬิกาบนหน้านิตยสาร The Quarterly ซึ่งเป็นนิตยสารที่ตีพิมพ์ในประเทศอังกฤษ โดยจะจัดพิมพ์ทั้งสิ้นเพียงแค่ 4 ครั้งต่อปี และมีกลุ่มผู้อ่านหลักเป็นนักธุรกิจ และนักบริหารด้านการเงินการธนาคาร ที่ทำงานอยู่ในย่าน City ของกรุงลอนดอน แฟชั่นดังกล่าวครอบคลุมนาฬิการะดับราคาตั้งแต่หลักพันบาทจาก G-Shock ไปจนถึงนาฬิการาคาหลักหลายล้านบาทจาก Patek Philippe

The story was shot for a special watch and jewellery theme for The Quarterly magazine. I used many vintage watch parts as elements to produce this fashion story. I hope everyone loves this watches shoot, and I can’t wait to produce more amazing watch shoots for The Quarterly again.

‘A financial safe haven in turbulent times, the precious metal is forever the favourite jewellery commodity.’ This is the second job that I’ve worked with an expensive jewellery collection. Last year I did a jewellery shoot for Prestige Indonesia. This fashion story is for The Quarterly winter 2011 issue.

The story features a range of jewellery from £10,000 (Chanel) to over £1,000,000 (Boodles). We worked with the talented photographer Matthew Shave, who also works frequently for Harper’s Bazaar, GQ and The Sunday Times Style.

The shoot went very well as we worked with the most lovely Dasha. The same girl that I shot a few weeks earlier for Prestige magazine. I would like to say a big THANKS to Fay Lamchaiprasert for being very helpful at the shoot, without you the shoot wouldn’t be a success. The magazine has already been published, and I hope every subscriber of The Week magazine will be happy with this supplement, The Quarterly.

It’s been some time since I left Thailand and had the chance to work with jewellery shoot again. The fashion story was shot by the Indonesian photographer Arseto Adiputra for Prestige Indonesia edition. It’s all about being glamorous. All the jewellery is from haute-jewellery G-International.

The shoot took place at the VIP showroom of G-International near Old Bond street in London. We had Dasha as our model. She’s one of the most beautiful Russian models at Storm London. She looks stunning with carefully selected jewellery to fit every outfit.

Some of the gems are even even bigger than my thumb. I’ve checked the prices of some of the jewellery and they worth between £8,000 to over the £100,000! Yes, I know.. I was shocked too but I want some. The magazine is already out for all Indonesian readers.

This will be my last post of this year before I take a long and enjoyable Xmas and New Year holiday in Manchester. Even though it’s the warmest Xmas since the 1920s, but nothing beats family, food and fine wine. This is also, in my opinion, the best time to go shopping – in the Xmas sales, because there are so many bargain’s from great designers, with around 60% – 80% off!!!!

I will definitely be wandering around Harrods’ sale next week because it’s simply the best place for menswear bargains, with an amazing selection of styles and a wide range of  sizes as well.

And these are my latest packing story on The Quarterly winter issue. In case it inspires you to dress up or gives you some idea of what you should grab in the coming sales – ‘Have a great Christmas & Happy New Year!’

The suit is sharp, the shirt crisp and the leather on the shoes burnished. Now it’s down to the final touches, particularly the slickest of watches. At last I got the chance to do a proper fashion story in BRUMMELL magazine after working as a fashion assistant for 2 issues. I have to thank Dominic Bell, the art director of Brummell, who gave me this opportunity.

For the watches & jewellery issue the theme is ‘Horology’. I was commissioned to produce the main style section and 2 double-page spreads on women’s and men’s watches. I’m very proud as I could say that all fashion stories in this issue were all styled by me. What an amazing opportunity!

The main story and a story on women’s white watches was shot by Bruce Anderson. He’s one of the best photographers I’ve work with – precise, efficient with immaculate results. The story is the life of a businessman keeping track the time from dawn till dusk.

The fashion story included an amazing range of suits and overcoats from Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta to Giorgio Armani, and an incredible leather briefcase from Bally and a mock-croc briefcase from Burberry.

I also made some small props for the women’s watches page by making geometrical forms. So in this issue on the upside, I had fun calling in and cutting things up, while the downside was a desire to buy an IWC watch that was absolutely over my budget with a price tag of £13,500.  Well! I don’t have that much money to spend now but it doesn’t mean I won’t have that much money in the future..  I keep telling myself everyday :-)

The magazine has already come out to subscribers of Dow Jones’s Financial News. I’m very happy with this Brummell issue. These are great fashion stories for my portfolio. Another small step closer to the heart of UK fashion industry!
