This season Dries offers up contemporary clothes inspired by the rockers of the 1960s and the modern silhouette of today. The lyrics and words of Frank Zappa and Oscar Wilde have been used to produce a message in psychedelic print on fabric. There are suits and jackets printed with images like the works of the French Post-Impressionist painter Henry Rousseau. I believe these suits will be the hottest look for the season to come. We will definitely spot many trend-setters flocking around town with these key items.

สำหรับคอลเล็คชั่นฤดูหนาวปลายปีนี้ Dries นำเสนอคอลเล็คชั่นที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากงานศิลปะแบบลวดลายหลอนประสาทจากช่วงยุค 60s (Psychedelic art) ประกอบกับถ้อยคำร้อง และบทละครจาก Frank Zappa และ Oscar Wilde ที่กลายร่างผสมผสานให้เกิดข้อความ และลวดลายกราฟฟิตี้ที่ถูกตีพิมพ์บนผืนผ้า จุดเด่นของโชว์นี้อยู่ที่การผสมผสานของสไตล์เสื้อผ้าแบบชาวร็อกเกอร์ในช่วงยุค 60s กับความร่วมสมัยของโครงสร้างเสื้อในแบบปัจจุบัน นอกจากนั้นยังมีการพิมพ์ลวดลายในแบบงานภาพเขียนของศิลปินฝรั่งเศสอย่าง Henry Rousseau บนตัวเสื้อและกางเกง

There’s not only standout looks with bold print on offer. There is lots of business and evening wear in dark and traditional styles too. We still see the Dries’s signature trousers this season – pleated waistlines and tapered legs. They also come in wool, silk, velvet and fabric weaved with metallic threads.

Shoes are aways a star products at Dries, and this season it’s all about loafers. They come in variety of styles, such as plain cowhide leather, and mock-croc in shades of caramel, coco and black. I can’t wait to buy those amazing printed jackets and those mock-croc loafers. Life just getting better every season at Dries Van Noten.

รองเท้ายังคงเป็นสินค้าชิ้นเอกที่ Dries ทำได้ดีเสมอมา ในฤดูกาลนี้รองเท้าแบบสวม (Loafer) กลายเป็นตัวเอกที่ถูกผลิตมาในทั้งแบบหนังวัวปกติ และที่เป็นแบบลายพิมพ์แบบหนังจรเข้ จุดเด่นของรองเท้าอยู่ที่การไล่โทนสีของน้ำตาลคาราเมลกับดำ

และนี่ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งคอลเล็คชั่นเสื้อผ้าผู้ชายที่จัดว่างามที่สุดโชว์นึงตั้งแต่สัปดาห์แฟชั่นเริ่มขึ้นที่มิลานจนล่วงเลยมาถึงปารีสในวันนี้ ถ้าคอลเล็คชั่น Prada เมื่อสองวันที่ผ่านมาคือโชว์เสื้อที่ดีที่สุดสำหรับใส่ออกงานกลางคืน Dries ในวันนี้ ก็คือโชว์เสื้อที่สวยที่สุดสำหรับการใส่ทำงานในชีวิตประจำวัน

This is my latest editorial work that I’m really happy with. It’s for the May issue of a Thai magazine called ‘Dichan’ – and it’s just out this week. The concept is supermodels. The girl, Joy Vararak, is a top supermodel in Thailand from the 90s.  The photographer and I decided to photograph her in many different styles as we could.

The shooting required a lot of research for each outfit. We took 14 pictures with 14 styles. The photo shoot started very early in the morning with a lot of make up and hair going on with Joy.

The Photographer, hair stylist and make up artist I worked with were some of the best in Thailand (Nat, O-lek and To) without them the shoot wouldn’t have been finished in 7 hours.

We worked with Canadian and Russian girls to produce beautiful fashion spreads for 2 magazine. The shoot went on in the morning and finished in late afternoon a usual. After the shoot, my assistant had an idea of doing some picture of himself with LV clothes that we had just like the LV’s advert.

I thought my assistant were FIERCE than madonna ;-p as he dressed more stylish with bangles from Burberry, bag and hat from Chanel. Only one thing missing, he hasn’t got that long Madonna legs! Anyway, I think my assistant is very cute and funny. He alway made my hard and stressful job become entertaining thing to do. Wasn’t you love him too ;-))
