<p><strong>It was jazzy and wonderful way to heaven, route 66. This is New Orleans and Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was there for Honeymoon &amp; Travel magazine&#8217;s fashion shooting. </strong>The trip started with 27 hours fight from Bangkok &#8211; with one stop at Narita airport, Japan, then Chicago until we reached New Orleans and Albuquerque at the end.</p>
<p><img class="size-medium wp-image-139 aligncenter" title="img_0017" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0017-533x400.jpg" alt="img_0017" width="533" height="400" /></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-147" title="untitled-13" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/untitled-13.jpg" alt="untitled-13" width="800" height="400" /></p>
<p>We started work right away in the next morning in New Orleans. The first location was the famous dough café called &#8216;Cafe Du Monde&#8217;. We did our fashion shoots in there and had our breakfast too.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-140" title="img_0005" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0005.jpg" alt="img_0005" width="800" height="600" /></p>
<p>For me the dough was not different from a Thai desert called Pa-Tong-Ko (a flour fried in oil for having with soya milk or congee.) The differences were that they served with icing sugar on the top and every bite I took I felt very fat. It&#8217;s exactly the same feeling when I&#8217;m having a Krispy Kreme doughnut!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="size-large wp-image-141 aligncenter" title="img_0013" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0013-449x600.jpg" alt="img_0013" width="449" height="600" /></p>
<p>The cafe insides decorated with lots of French colonial features as New Orleans has so many influent from French. There was also a lot of Voodoo things in New Orleans too.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-142" title="img_0006" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0006-533x400.jpg" alt="img_0006" width="533" height="400" /></p>
<p>One of the most interesting night was when we went to have a dinner in town. It was a Jazz bar and restaurant. The restaurant owner treated us very well. We were very enjoyed the wine and live jazz in the restaurant!</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-143" title="bfd" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/bfd.jpg" alt="bfd" width="792" height="530" /></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-144" title="342143" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/342143.jpg" alt="342143" width="800" height="296" /></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-146" title="img_0065" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0065.jpg" alt="img_0065" width="800" height="600" /></p>
<p>We also went for a nice trip along the Mississippi rivers. It was a very nice sunny day and we had a lot of fun.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-145" title="xaxsxw" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/xaxsxw.jpg" alt="xaxsxw" width="800" height="531" /></p>
<p>After a couple of days in New Orleans we headed to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for the route 66 road &#8211; the road that run pass Chicago, Illinois, through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California before ending at Los Angeles, encompassing a total of 2,448 miles (3,940 km)</p>
<p><span><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-150" title="img_0638" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0638.jpg" alt="img_0638" width="800" height="600" /></span></p>
<p><span>We visited the stunning <a href="http://tamaya.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp">Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa</a> and had a breakfast there. </span>The hotel surrounded by many beautiful mountains with interesting activities offered for their guests such as horse riding and a balloon trip.<strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p><span><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-151" title="csa" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/csa.jpg" alt="csa" width="597" height="223" /></span></p>
<p><span><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-149" title="img_0106" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0106.jpg" alt="img_0106" width="800" height="600" /></span></p>
<p><span><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-153" title="img_0095" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0095.jpg" alt="img_0095" width="800" height="600" /></span></p>
<p><span>That afternoon we went for a lunch in the Route 66 café. They serve mainly hamburger. In my view, It&#8217;s very unhealthy food and I definitely not recommended.<br />
</span></p>
<p><span><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-158" title="img_0135" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0135.jpg" alt="img_0135" width="800" height="600" /></span></p>
<p><span><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-159" title="kjil" src="http://www.kampoll.com/personal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/kjil.jpg" alt="kjil" width="796" height="529" /><br />
</span></p>
<p><span>And this would be another trip I will remember very well. Here is the <a href="http://www.kampoll.com/hm01.html" target="_blank">link</a> of </span>Albuquerque fashion for Honeymoon &amp; Travel. I will put the New Orleans fashion up the page soon if I&#8217;m not too lazy ;-))</p>
